Built from the Ground Up
Founded by S Ramanathan — a founding member of the Cethar Group
since 1984 — RIBO has grown from a pilot shop to a 4,800 MTPA
precision facility over fifteen years.
2010
Founded
S Ramanathan established RIBO Industries in Tamil Nadu with a pilot manufacturing shop, drawing on 26 years of industry experience.
2013
Automated Panel Line
Facility scaled with an automated panel processing line — enabling 3,500 M of panel production per day and anchoring RIBO’s waterwall capability.
2013
Valmet Partnership
First international OEM NDA signed with Valmet, initiating RIBO’s trusted supply relationship with global boiler makers.
2016
Andritz & Toshiba NDAs
Two additional international OEM partnerships formalised, covering design and technology confidentiality.
2017

Berkes BWE NDA

Completed supply for 8 straw-fired power plants for SAEL. Sixth international NDA signed, reflecting continued OEM trust and growing global reach.

HEADERS & PIPING

Header marking machine for precision nozzle positioning. STBW at 150 butt
joints/day for consistent tube-to-tube welds.
Waterwall Panels

Automated panel processing at 3,500 M/day. Inconel 625 cladding available for
high-erosion environments — proven to triple component service life.
1,100°C capacity — eliminates dependency on external vendors for post-weld heat treatment.
Pre-dispatch dimensional inspection and trial assembly ensures fit-up on site — no forced alignment, no residual stress.
Single-point responsibility from design through site commissioning. Cuts rework, logistics, and penalty exposure.
Full traceability from approved mill to final product — with colour coding, document control, and chemical/mechanical validation.
All weld procedures qualified and certified. Supercritical-rated welders trained to BHEL standards.
